Prior to our first appointment, you will complete an intake form which will include an overview of your current symptoms and goals for treatment. Our initial visit will include a review of your medical, psychiatric and social history, as well as a physical examination. We will discuss and create a personalized treatment plan to meet your individual needs and goals. We will also go over several self-regulation techniques that you can begin to use right away. Please note that this fee does not include a records review of outside physician or therapist's notes, labs or other investigations.
Review prior records or investigations may be requested for an additional fee of $150.
50-minute treatments allow for a Brainspotting session, a HeartMath session including HRV biofeedback or psychoeducation.
80-minute treatments allow for an extended Brainspotting session or the addition of HeartMath, HRV biofeedback, somatic exercises, or psychoeducation.
My practice is not in-network with commercial health insurance carriers. Depending on your insurance, you may have out-of-network benefits that make it possible for your insurance to reimburse you some portion of the cost of your treatment. I will provide a medical service invoice (superbill) to submit when making an insurance claim for reimbursement.
While some patients will notice improvements within 1-2 sessions, more significant benefits can be expected after 5 sessions that include Brainspotting therapy and daily practice using HeartMath techniques and/or Heart Rate Variability (HRV) biofeedback.
